The library is one of the most important features of CENDEAC, gathering a collection that is as comprehensive and diverse as possible, while retaining a strong focus on artistic practices from the 20th and 21st centuries. It offers free access to over 30,000 titles on art theory, art history, architecture and photography, as well as exhibition catalogues, artist monographs and a subscription to over 40 international art journals. The CENDEAC library is currently undergoing a substantial programme of reorganisation and development. In collaboration with the Biblioteca Regional de Murcia, we are currently carrying out the necessary work to offer our catalogue online (OPAC).

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Services
The library offers 20 reading posts as well as equipment for Internet access and for watching audiovisual material.
Users can obtain reproductions of books, documents, regular publications, leaflets and graphic materials through photocopier and digital scanner facilities.
Inter-library loan
CENDEAC has an inter-library loan service in order to exchange and obtain documents from other libraries and reference centres. Through this service, libraries and reference centres can ask for documents to CENDEAC and vice versa.
Acquisitions suggestions
This service allows users to suggest the acquisition of new items for the collection (books, journals, videos, DVDs, CDs, etc.).
To suggest new purchases you can write to: documentacion@cendeac.net indicating the author, title, publishing house, place and date of publication of the document together with the purpose of the suggestion (research, reference.). Suggestions will be considered by our Centre and, if appropriate, processed for action.
