To spread knowledge and remedy the scarce attention that Spanish publishing houses pay to art theory and criticism, CENDEAC has initiated an editorial line composed of several collections. Apart from the publishing of books by Spanish and Latin American authors, the translation of significant works of international critics, such as Mieke Bal, Mario Perniola, Paul Ardenne, Griselda Pollock, Thierry de Duve and others has been initiated.

CENDEAC also publishes the journal Visual Studies , directed by José Luis Brea, that intends to deal with the problems of visual culture studies and soon become one of the leading lights of international critics.
