Seminar: Politics of Art

There is increasing evidences that politics has been overthrown. It can no longer consist of a group of practices articulated by the State power, whose diverse components, planes and instances still rotate as planets in Copernican orbits around an unique figure of sovereignty. The politics that opens up is the politics of a new Exodus, another exodus, invoked by Paolo Virno. Politics that is not Politics but the whole of politics, macro and micro politics, heteroclite and heterogeneous and for the same thing, unyielding to topoi, to common, political place not of the capitals neither of the orthodoxy but of some lower-case that are more appropriate than any capital letter to refer to the group of new political practices in the one that the works and the thoughts of the artists are inserted gathered in this seminar.
